Christ College Brecon

Offering an outstanding education in the safe, peaceful environment of the Brecon Beacons National Park in Wales, Christ College provides the best of academic provision alongside excellent pastoral care, allowing children to grow up in a less pressurised environment that can be found in the big cities. We provide holistic independent education for boys and girls aged 4-18. Day places are available from age 4+, flexi, weekly and full boarding is from age 10-18.

With exceptional pastoral care, a warm welcome, and a compassionate community, pupils thrive in an environment where kindness, respect, and personal growth are at the heart of everything.

We welcome students from all over the world for both full boarding and short stay experiences. Our student body is 17% international and students come from Japan, France, Spain, Germany, Hong Kong, China and South America.

Located on a beautiful 40-acre campus, the school’s extra-curricular programme, described by The Good Schools Guide as “one of the most exciting Saturday programmes we’ve seen,” offers a variety of activities including basketball, golf, mountain biking, climbing, horse-riding, paddle boarding, robotics, music and debating: there’s something for everyone.

Our pupils achieve excellent academic outcomes alongside the development of holistic skills. Sixth Form pupils celebrated impressive A Level results in 2024, with 60% achieving A*-A, 100% A*- A in Physics, 100% A*- A in Further Mathematics, 95% A*- A in Maths, and 82% A*- A in Chemistry.
