The history of TIECA dates back to 1990 when a group of twelve educational consultants in Thailand formed an independent, self-regulating group under the name “The Educational Consultants Group of Thailand”, widely known as ECT. The main objectives of the group were to share their expertise in the field of international education and help raise standards of practice and services rendered to students and international institutions.

TIECA has served as a QUALITY assurance body ensuring the highest counseling standards for Thai students seeking to study abroad. TIECA members have the abundant overseas study experiences and strongly commit to support the partner institutions to increase the education standard in Thailand. With the group of highly professional members, TIECA arranges the bi-monthly meeting in order to update the market trend, the current visa situation and other relevant issues among members. We are closely collaborating with the embassies and the related educational partners in the industry.
